There's something special about shooting smoke. It's impossible for me to actually choose which image I like the best when I shoot a series of these. I can get lost for hours staring into the different shapes and letting the mind run wild with thoughts of what I think I see forming in each.

All it takes is touch of pixie dust with a hefty amount of unicorn farts.
It's pretty simple to do actually. Shoot smoke on a black background and then take it into an application like Photoshop. There simply invert the image and add a gradient overlay layer.
