So today's shot I thought we'd have some fun with. I've placed two images side by side and they are noticeably different. Most photographers I'm sure will be able to figure out pretty quickly what I did. So having said that what did I do?

You made one of them blacker than the other.
Well yeah obviously. The question is, and maybe I should have been more clear, how.
